Neri cut Low Mass set made in our exclusive, bespoke Italian ‘Barberini’ pure white and gold silk damask which has been patterned off the historic textile used by the Barberini pope, Urban VIII. The silk in question includes a repeat pattern that includes their three iconic bees, which, apart from specifically being the symbol of the Barberini house, also feature more generally within Christian symbolism, particularly at times like the Easter Vigil where the image of the bees is embedded into the liturgical text of the Exsultet.
